This is where you can get all the inside dirt on Zinc Books from Zinc Media LLC. In other words, you can find out about customer service issues, new formats, new policy and procedures and just about anything else you wanted to know about the Zinc Media family of media outlets, products and services.
We will introduce all product and service changes right here first...before anywhere else, even.
Let us prove it to you; beginning right now (Sept 2010) ALL ORDERS from a Zinc Media LLC company (does not include items directly shipped from Amazon or other outside sources) and shipped from Zinc directly will be shipped via the United States Postal Service Priority Mail Service...at NO additional charge.
Well there are exceptions. Items that do not fit in a flat rate envelope will be shipped via our regular shipping service unless customer upgrades to a different shipping level of service. This means that over 90% of our books and other media will ship via the USPS Priority Mail service.
This will mean that without spending an extra penny, you will get better shipping service, faster shipping service. There are not many other Amazon, Half.com, ebay, or other venue sellers that can match our service and speed for the same low shipping and handling charges as Zinc.
So lets us be clear. If you order a media item directly from Zinc (not an item shipped by Amazon) and it fits in an USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope (you can check them out at your local post office if you wish) it will ship via that service at no additional charge to you.
What does this mean for you? It means that in most cases and in most destinations in the USA, you should get your order within 3 days of order shipping conformation. We will even include a unique tracking number so you can track your order via the USPS web site! Better service. Faster shipping. What more could you ask for?
How about no questions asked returns? Not happy with your order for any reason? You can return it for a full refund including return shipping. No questions asked. Whats the catch? Well, to be honest there are two. You have to return the item within 7 days of receiving it (DVD, music and other recorded material is excluded do to various laws and such) and you must contact us for a Return Authorization Code (RAC). This is so we know it is coming and record the return shipping date in order to credit your account.
What if you are a slow reader? What if you only check your mail once per week? No problem. If you keep an item longer than 7 days, you can still return it by requesting a RAC. We will still issue you a full refund (less all shipping and handling charges) no questions asked.
This is a service that few other book sellers offer. Now more than ever, it pays to shop with Zinc first.
