How to cope with a Panic Attack

How to Get Rid of Panic Attacks

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Anxiety attacks can quickly be resolved and mitigated with the right treatment. Anxiety attacks are natures response to a primeval perceived threat. This is what kept us alive thousands of years ago and is still in our genetics to some degree.

Steps

  1. Look at what reactions happen within your mind and body. Chemicals produced and released internally are the catalyst to all the symptoms of a anxiety attack. Your body is an amazing machine and the network of nerves and sensory receptors in the body transmit all the information as it is received. Our brain will transmit warnings through a complex cerebral cortex causing the decision process to kick into life. This in turn lets the good old brain know whether the actual problem is real or just your imagination playing havoc with you. If the correct buttons are hit, you will find that chemicals are released into the body and physical changes are the result. These can be as subtle as slight perspiration on the palms of the hand through to full on increased heart rate, restriction of breathing and possibly even fainting.
  2. Consciously force your mind to say to itself that there is no threat and that it is ok to relax.Keep repeating this to yourself over and over in your mind and within a couple of minutes the seeds are planted within the subconscious. Once the seed is planted, it will work wonders. You are now running on auto pilot. For the subconscious is ultimately the part of the mind that keeps you alive every day.
  3. Look at your environment, diet, health and lifestyle. In today's hustle and bustle of modern living, a lot of the sources and causes of anxiety attacks can be attributed to the way we live.
  4. Banish those bad influences from your life that may be adding to your stress. If you feel like you can't get over your stress, it probably means you have an underlying issue or stressor that is causing you distress. Choose in your mind a path to deal with this, or choose to ignore it. In most cases dealing with the problem and working it out in your mind helps immensely.
  5. If you experience an attack or feel like you are going to experience one, then don't react to the attack. Just accept it. Let it flow through you. Once you do this regularly, it will become easier for you to face panic attacks.

Tips

  • Ensure that each and every day you try to change just a little bit of each to assist you in overcoming anxiety attacks altogether.
  • Stay away from caffeine (coffee, energy drinks, etc.), drugs and alcohol
  • Try some form of vigorous aerobic excersize like jogging, riding a bike, etc. This helps to process some of the adrenalin that is released into the blood stream during a panic attack and reduces the physical symptoms associated with it.
  • Eat small amounts of wholesome food at regular intervals to maintain even blood sugar. Avoid simple carbohydrates like sugar, honey, white pasta, etc. as these metabolize very quickly and can contribute to a "roller-coaster" effect on blood sugar levels.

World Of Warcraft How to Play and Master

How to Play World of Warcraft

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Don't you hate it when you're stuck trying to do the simplest things in World of Warcraft? Never fear; this guide will help you with your basic training.

Steps

  1. Verify that your computer meets the system requirements, and then purchase and download the World of Warcraft basic game. Expansion packs, such as The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King provide additional content, but are not required to play. It is also possible to play using a trial version, but they come with significant limitations, and only last 10-14 days.
  2. Start your game! When you log in, you'll be prompted to select a server from the following types:
    • Normal: The standard game. Most players choose this option.
    • PvP: The standard game is modified in that Player versus Player combat can occur at any time.
    • RP: RP is an abbreviation for roleplaying. These servers have specific codes of conduct and naming guidelines. It is best to read them thoroughly before selecting this type of server.
    • RP-PvP: A Player vs. Player server that follows roleplaying rules.
  3. To get a feel for the basic game, start on a Normal server. You can always make a character on a different server type, or, in many cases, transfer to another server, once you're familiar with the game dynamics.
  4. You should also consider server population during your selection process. Unless you have a friend on an existing server, "Medium" populated realms are recommended because they are neither deserted nor overcrowded, and tend to have a stable economy.
  5. Create your first character! Pick Horde or Alliance, and then your specific race. Then, choose your class. Don't just pick a class or race "because they look cool". Read the info about them on the side, and follow your instincts. Have a reason for your choice!
  6. Once you're in the game world, take some time to get acquainted with the user interface. There are add-ons that you can download to modify, or supplement the default interface. www.curse.com has a good collection of these, as does www.wowui.net. Even if the interface you intend to download says "virus scanned upon upload", always scan any such downloads with anti-virus software before installing.
  7. You can move around with the WASD keys, the arrow keys, or the mouse or trackball (by holding down the left and right buttons at the same time).
  8. Once you've gotten used to the controls, take a look at your action bar at the bottom left of the screen. This is where all your spells and abilities are stored. The numbers in each box correspond to one of your number keys on the keyboard.
  9. When you become more comfortable with the key strokes as your character advances, you will be able to take advantage of built-in add-ons such as additional action bars and key binding. Since your original action bar coresponds with the numbers at the top of your keyboard, you should consider any changes you make in your bindings to remain close to your most used keystrokes. This insures that you are not playing hunt & peck on your keyboard while you are drawing hits from the environment bent on destroying you.
  10. Near the spot where you first appeared in the game world, there should be a quest giver. NPCs, or non-player characters, with quests have yellow exclamation marks above their heads. You will also see them in your display map in the upper right hand corner of your screen (or wherever your UI places it). Right click the NPC to see the quest text, read it, and then click "Accept" to accept the quest. Doing this will either send you on your way to another NPC, or direct you to perform a mission task for the NPC at which point you will see a grey question mark appear above their head.

  11. When you have completed quests, those NPC's to whom you are to report with your findings, reports, or bag of collectable goodies, will have a yellow question mark above them (this too you will see in your display map). By selecting them, you will be able to complete your quest and gain the experience from that mission as well as any items or money they are offering as specific rewards.
  12. You will also note as you adventure different colored exclamation points and question marks along the way. Grey exclamation points are to draw your attention to the fact that the NPC below it has a mission for you to perform once you meet the required level. As you advance, make sure you revisit the areas you have been to collect these quests. Green exclamation points (which will appear as the yellow ones do in your map) are new flight paths. Always be on the lookout for new flight paths. They will make traveling the map much easier. Blue question marks are reserved for continued collection missions or those that have no limit to the amount you can turn in for XP or reward.
  13. Your first fight! There should be several level 1, 2, and 3 enemies not too far away from where you start out. To begin your attack on one, right click it. You can use your spells and abilities by clicking buttons in the action bar, or by hitting the corresponding key on your keyboard.
  14. That's it! Continue on your journey through Azeroth by completing quests, and by killing baddies.

Tips

  • While travelling, kill any monster that is two levels higher than your level or lower. The experience will help.
  • Before going to the next zone, try to complete every quest in the current zone until you reach level forty. You will be happy that you did, as you will gain more experience and get rewards for doing them. some of your quests will have you going to other zones, but come back to these (and get your flight path while you are there)
  • When you reach level 10, you will be able to enter the Warsong Gulch battleground, in which two teams from the Alliance and the Horde play Capture the Flag against each other, however it is recommended that you wait until levels 17-19 to be able to be a considerable challenge.
  • Certain quests recommend grouping with others to complete a task. Many of these are dungeon quests, but some difficult creatures out in the world are too challenging to solo until you are higher level than they are. Ask for help from your friends or guild mates, or use the LFG tool to find other players.
  • If you're having trouble completing a quest, finding a certain item/NPC, there are several web sites you can go to for help. www.thottbot.com and wowhead.com are probably two of the more popular search engines. Or you can get the quest helper add-on from curse.addons/downloads you download it into the add-ons folder. You can get to the add-ons folder on a PC by going to start, my computer, c drive, my programs, world of warcraft, interface, and then add-ons. The quest helper add-on will help you save time by getting all of your quests and find the quickest route to do it in, and it shows where all of the mobs (monsters) are
  • You can add more action bars to your screen by opening up your options menu (esc), clicking 'interface', and opening up the 'Advanced' Tab.
  • Familarizing yourself with Warcraft lore can help you out with quests and make your gameplay more exciting. If you can, play Warcraft 3 and its expansion and/or visit www.wowwiki.com
  • If you do not have a guild or friends to play with on a particular server, you may wish to select a class that is easy to level on your own. Pet classes, such as hunters and warlocks, are easier to level than many other classes.
  • If you are interested in seeing dungeon content, select a class that is in high demand: Warriors and Priests can almost always get a group.
  • Make use of ingame guides such as Zygor Guide Review
  • In-game guide mods can be very helpful in reducing your play time and leveling time. They will give you the chance to read a guide inside the game window and thus, you will no more need to minimize the game window to read your PDF guide. Many guides are available with in-game versions on the net. Check mod sites for a list of those. You will have to do a small setup and the guide will show inside the game. A recommended guide is Nubun WOW Leveling Guide because its in-game mod comes with a small application that will let you setup the in-game mod in just one click.

Warnings

  • When traveling, watch out for creatures with red-colored names. They are aggressive and will attack if you get too close.
  • Be careful when starting a fight with a creature. Other enemies in the area may join in against you, which is dangerous if you are fighting enemies close to your level.

Things You'll Need

  • World of Warcraft
  • PC or Mac computer
  • Lots of spare time
  • Energy Drinks (limit to no more than one drink per day, as they are dangerous in huge amounts)

Is Yoga Right for You?
by: James Pendergraft

A lot of women perform yoga exercises not just to lose weight or maintain proper body weight but also because they want to be healthy emotionally and mentally. Yoga is also known to contribute to the decrease of a number of problems during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. There is research to prove this, but it’s easy to see the physical, mental, and emotional benefits evident on those women who practice yoga.

Yoga Helps You Cope with a Busy Lifestyle

If you are still undecided about yoga, then there are a number of things about it that will help you decide. One of these is its relevance to today’s world, even if it is one of the most ancient practices of all times.

Yoga is considered as the perfect solution that helps women cope with their busy days and the resulting mental and physical stress. This is especially true if they are working moms who need to deal with the pressures of both work and home. Sitting behind a desk or even driving a car for several hours every day would already result in a woman’s having shoulder and back problems that will not only affect their lives at the office but also at home when they are dealing with the family and household chores.

Choosing the Best Yoga Style Helps

Deciding if yoga is really right for you would also require you to choose the yoga style that will fit your lifestyle, personality, and needs. If you are a working mom, your yoga needs might differ from those women who are just working at the office for long hours every day. As such, it is very important to find the perfect teacher or trainer who has the right knowledge about yoga who is not only qualified and accredited but also compassionate and sensitive to what you really need.

Yoga Styles:

1)Vini Yoga. This is a personal practice that could be developed through the incorporation of meditation, proper breathing, and posture as well as prayer and rituals. The amount of all these aspects that could be incorporated into your yoga practice will have to be changed though as a woman and her needs change and develop. Therefore, if you are still a student or a young professional, then the physical aspects of yoga might be more important for you, while older women might focus more on the spiritual, mental, and emotional aspects.

2)Ashtanga Yoga. Also considered as the power yoga, this style is known to be flowing and athletic. Breathing is very important in this yoga style as a woman flows through a series of postures. This is able to generate a lot of sweat and body heat, thus helping women detoxify their bodies.

3)Ananda Yoga. This yoga style makes use of temperate poses. This is gently meditative and perfect for those who would like to practice a yoga style that helps them to look inwards so they can focus on making their emotions better

Work From Home Can Work for You.

How to get your share of the multi billion dollar work from home industry and make up to $1000 per day!

If you live in America and you have been wanting to work from home, you might be in luck. Internet Payday has now released a new "Work From Home Program" that will allow Americans to work for the titan from the comfort of their own homes.

To thousands of Americans this means that they will soon have a safe and bright future working for one of the fastest growing companies in the world.

In the middle of this recession this country and the world is going through, Internet Payday has been thriving and reporting profits consistently every quarter.

Completely innovating the Search Engine industry in the late 1990's, Internet Payday has had a history of development and innovation, and another one is about to come.

Internet Payday has now opened it's doors and will be hiring everyday people to work from the comfort of their own homes posting links. The way this works is Internet Payday will allow people to signup and receive a package which will contain all the step by step instructions to get setup from home.

This will allow Internet Payday to hire talent that would otherwise be unreachable and compensate them based on results on a long term basis.

What you need: A Computer, an Internet Connection and the desire to make a living working from home. No special skills are required other than knowing how to use a computer and navigate the internet.

Mary, a mother from San Jose, CA who worked with Internet Payday in the experimental parts of this program, is thriving, in the middle of an economic recession, working in the comfort of her own home with Internet Payday.

From her website: "I get paid about $25 for every link I post on Internet Payday and I get paid every week... I make around $5500 a month right now"

Internet Payday has now officially released their new "work from home" system out to the public. There will be thousand of spots available that are expected to go very soon in the next few days.

The way this works is very simple, Internet Payday says.

First you will need to apply for their work from home kits. Internet Payday has release a limited amount of kits, all distributed through local websites in your area, which will cost $2 of shipping and handling to the public.

Internet Payday says this charge is made to cover shipping costs but also to separate the people that are serious about working with them through this program.

Once you have ordered your kit (if you are one of the lucky few to get availability in your area) then you will receive a package that will contain all the instructions you need to start working from home for the online titan.

This kit will show you all you need to know, Internet Payday says. You will be performing simple and straightforward tasks such as posting links. "Anybody with basic computer skills will be able to perform these tasks" adding to that they say that "We understand the psychology of working from home and we want to give our employees tasks that are simple and easy, and reward them generously in order to keep them motivated."

Is this worth quitting your job? If you're lucky enough to receive a kit, you might not even have to.

"We start off our work from home program only requiring 1-2 hours a day of work, earning a great income from the start. This way our work from home employees will see the benefit and start devoting more and more time each day and their salaries will increase accordingly" Internet Payday reports.

Although they are going very fast since their release earlier today, thousands of positions are still available at the time of this writing.

To apply for a job working from home for Internet Payday here are the three steps:
Step 1: Get the Internet Payday Work From Home Kit, only pay the $2.95 for shipping. (The shipping cost allows Internet Payday to screen for serious people).

Step 2: Follow the directions on your package and set up a Internet Payday account. Then they will give you the website links to post. Start posting those links. Internet Payday tracks everything.

Step 3: Internet Payday will send out your checks weekly. Or you can start to have them wire directly into your checking account. (Your first checks will be about $750 to $1,500 a week. Then it goes up from there. Depends on how many links you posted online.)
"Promotional Code Gets You .95 cent Shipping"

We found a promotional code that reduces your shipping charge from $2.95 to .95 cents.

How To Be Happy With Your Job

Think You Can Increase Your Job Satisfaction? Think Again.

This article unravels a mystery. Why after decades of trying thousands of employers from around the globe cannot eliminate job dissatisfaction. Some things can't be fixed or increased, unless you try looking at it from another perspective. The solution is so simple it's profound.

What enables your satisfaction on the job varies for each person. It might be things extrinsic to your job like the industry, work location, pay, benefits, co-workers, working conditions, resources, supervision and training, or it might be things that are intrinsic to your job like the type of work, your challenges and ability to influence results, make a contribution, and the pride, recognition and enjoyment derived from a job well done.

Simple enough, but what's often overlooked is the fact your job satisfaction is dependent first and always on having a job. It would not exist except for the employer making it possible for you to work and be rewarded, and this applies regardless if your satisfaction is intrinsic or extrinsic. It's also co-dependent on what you do in exchange for the rewards the employer decides to offer or not take away.

The reality is you have no control over the employer or the satisfactions they offer except by some form of bargaining, by your choice of jobs and employers, and your level of performance and whether it influences the employer's decisions. This makes your job satisfaction vulnerable to circumstances like controlling bosses, management decisions, layoffs and restructuring, but also to the impacts of the economy, global competition, natural disasters, war and terrorism. Jobs and the satisfactions they portend could be here today but gone tomorrow, and this explains why it's difficult to try and increase your job satisfaction. It's also unreasonable to think that employers can satisfy everyone all the time.

Rarely do you think of these things. You do your best choosing the right job and then you work under the expectation that in exchange for your good efforts and results the employer will reciprocate by helping to make you satisfied. It's only when the threat exists of losing your job, or when the conditions and expectations change that you begin to realize your job satisfaction is dependent, conditional and vulnerable to things that are beyond your control, and sometimes beyond even the employer's control.

So what do you control, and by this I mean independently of any employer in order to have and enjoy the career you desire?

We've already established your intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction is actually employer provided, dependent and conditional, so it must be something else, something deeper.

What you control exclusively in order to fulfill your callings and purpose is your thoughts, emotions, reasoning, talents and choices. Neither of these things is employer provided or controlled. You take them with you if you change jobs, careers and employers, and they remain with you even if your satisfactions are reduced or taken away. These are the elements of your career contentment.

Contentment is a state of mind that exists independently of employers, other people or material things. In other words, you can be content even if not happy or entirely satisfied. You do this quite naturally by how you reason to recognize the acceptable middle ground in any situation. The peace that results enables you to think clearly, make choices, and to deal more effectively with things that are normally upsetting. Contentment provides overlooked resiliency strength.

On the job this strength and peaceful state of mind is your career contentment. It is the source of your effectiveness to perform and your ability to endure, even job dissatisfaction. It is dependent exclusively on how you think and is conditional on your predisposition to recognize middle ground, but also on your choice of work and whether it is meaningful to the use of your talents and fulfillment of your callings and purpose.

Career is the pursuit of contentment derived from meaningful work, not just the pursuit of the transient satisfactions that keep you dependent on employers.

Contentment proves that you can live without the transient satisfactions but not without your ability to reason and recognize middle ground. Thankfully so because nothing in this world is absolutely perfect and not everything is likely to go your way, or even the way your employer wants it to go. Not only do you need contentment, it's more valuable to you than mere satisfaction. You have to let this thought sink in.

I first started contemplating these ideas during the mid 1980s when I worked in the brewing industry. Sales were flat, the industry was consolidating and we were laying people off. Benefits, bonuses and pay increases were all reduced and promotions were out of the question. I was young, aggressive and full of complaints. One day my boss calmly told me that if I was so unhappy I should leave and they could eliminate my headcount and save someone from being laid off. No way could I increase my job satisfaction, but I quickly learned how to reason and recognize my career contentment. To this day, and despite some of the most despicable and dissatisfying conditions, those were the absolute best years of my entire career.

You may not be entirely happy or satisfied with your weight, house, car, job or spouse but you don't upgrade each week either. You focus on the acceptable middle ground, rainbow, silver lining and light at the end of the tunnel, and you leverage this state of mind to endure, make due and still get things done, with or without being made satisfied. Try living without this ability.

A person who is content with their work will be more inclined to tolerate the inevitable job dissatisfactions, but a person who is discontent or in the wrong job will leave despite your extra efforts to retain them. This is why some people stay in jobs despite the lack of satisfactions, or leave highly desirable jobs for lesser satisfactions. Fulfilling their purpose is more important to them than fulfilling the employer's purpose, and they can't be paid enough to ignore or waste their talents. They are in pursuit of their career contentment, and it may not have anything to do with the job satisfactions.

You can try but I guarantee you'll have a difficult time changing the world or attempting to increase your own pay, benefits or other job satisfactions, but you can increase your career contentment any time simply by changing how you think and reason to recognize the acceptable middle ground. You do it all the time but were never trained to apply this to your career. You launched your career looking for success and satisfaction, not contentment. Isn't it about time to change your thinking? We've tried practically everything else and even discovered the grass isn't greener. And besides, once you get what you want don't you eventually want more or something different?

One last thing: Don't confuse contentment with satisfaction. They're completely different or how else could you still be content if not happy or satisfied? It's because these terms are used wrongly or interchangeably that conflict exists between reporting entities on the percentage of workers currently dissatisfied. Estimates vary monthly and range from 36%, 60% to 87% of workers being dissatisfied. Whose right?

Many of the so-called dissatisfied are actually content with their job and career, but are unhappy with one or more satisfactions. That we fail to make this distinction is a problem because satisfaction is an either/or proposition. In other words, you may have a good job and are well paid with great benefits and working conditions, but if your boss is a jerk, your entire job begins to sour and you think you need a new one. What's missing is an understanding of the acceptable middle ground. Once you understand this, your world takes on a whole new appearance and some of the dissatisfactions become a bit more tolerable. This is a strength we can all use more often.

Can you really make money with FOREX?

How to Trade Forex Online

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Trading forex (foreign exchange) is highly risky. Due to the leverage available, with very little money down you can have big gains, but also big losses. In addition, there is financial friction, since you are paying fees in the form of the spread. Only highly sophisticated investors should trade forex -- and if you're not sure what you are, then you're probably not highly sophisticated. Whatever you do, don't trade more than you can lose -- because odds are, you will lose everything.

Steps

  1. Research the best ways to invest. Forex is supposedly the biggest market in the world. It's bigger than the US stock market, because the daily turnover is in the trillions. First understand that you, the retail investor is not going to move the market, the banks trade in multimillions, you won't be doing so.
  2. Consult a trusted broker. You need to trade through a margin broker who will give you 100:1 leverage on your trades. That means if you have a $1000 margin deposit with the broker, you can control 100,000 units of base currency
  3. Understand world currency and its fluctuations. Currencies are traded in pairs. Choose a single pair to learn how to trade and stick to it until you get to know the personality of the pair.
  4. Get a charting package which allows you to see the current price as it happens and make technical analysis
  5. Learn a system which gives you an indication of when to enter and when to exit trades
  6. Start using a demo account and not real money. When you are confident and consistently making good trades, and only then, go live. Start with a micro (1k lot size) or mini account (10k lot size).
  7. Enroll in a financial education course. Get a course which gives you an education, a strategy and a way to carry out all the above steps successfully and affordably, from a reputable dealer. Good luck!

Tips

  • Open a FOREX trading account. You will usually have the option to trade with free money or real money. Learn to trade with the demo/practice account before you start using real money.
  • Don't feel discouraged because you performed poorly with the demo account, it is very difficult to create a realistic situation when you are using demo money. The way you think and analyze will change when you start trading with your real money.
  • Learn the basics of Forex trading, keep an eye on OIL, GOLD, STOCK Market prices, these are some of the few factors in currency fluctuation.
  • Stick to just one pair. The most commonly traded pair is EUR/USD and USD/JPY. If it's good enough for the banks, it's good enough for you.
  • Learn money management! This is the most important thing you can do, learning what amount should be used on a specific trade can save you from losing your bankroll.
  • Try to focus on using only about 20% of your total cash. For example, if you decide to invest $1000, try to use only $200 to invest in the currency pair. The prices in Forex are extremely volatile, and you want to make sure you have enough money to cover the down side.
  • Please note, trading currency is different from trading stocks. For example, if you bought $1000 worth of stocks and if the stock prices become $0, you will lose your $1000. In Forex, you can lose more than your investment so make sure you use only a portion of your cash to invest and keep about 80% of cash to cover the down side.
  • If your currency pair goes against you and you don't have enough money to cover the duration, you will automatically canceled out of your order. Make sure you don't make this mistake.
  • Limit your losses, but don't be too conservative, lets say that you invested $200 in EUR/USD, and today, your total losses are $50, if you limit your losses to less than $50, you would have lost money. This is why it is important to use only about 20% of your funds, since you can set the stop loss to more than your investment which can be $200-$300, however much you are willing to risk. Having enough capital to cover the downside will allow you to keep you position open and see profits. Please note: Loses aren't losses unless your position is closed. If your position is still open, your losses will only count if you choose to close the order and take the loses.
  • It will only be matter of time until you get your money back and start seeing profit. Be patient and don't get too emotional about what happens to the prices. They are out of your control and the only thing you can do is to research estimate the direction of the market.
